How do I track a candle?

Tap the button to light a candle — give it a name and optionally snap a photo. Wickly records the moment you lit it and shows a live timer. When it’s done, open the candle and tap Finish to record the total burn time.

Can I pause a candle and continue later?

Yes. You can Pause a burning candle and Resume it next time — Wickly adds up every session for an accurate total burn time.

The camera isn’t working — why?

The camera only works on a physical device. On the Simulator, Wickly falls back to your photo library. On a real device, allow camera access in Settings → Wickly.

How do reminders work, and can I change them?

Wickly sends a gentle “still burning?” reminder plus firmer safety nudges. Adjust the timing or turn them off in Insights → ⋯ → Settings.

Is my data backed up? How do I move to a new device?

Your data stays on your device. Use Insights → Back up to Files to save a backup (including photos) to Files or iCloud Drive, then Insights → Restore from backup on the new device.

How do I delete a candle?

Swipe left on a candle and tap Delete, then confirm. Deletion is permanent.

Does Wickly track me or collect my data?

No. Wickly collects no personal data and includes no tracking or analytics. See our Privacy Policy.
